ENERGY, EDUCATION, AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES PROGRAM

The Energy, Education and Environmental Services Program's main objective is to help conserve energy by reducing the consumption of our natural resources.  It also aims to: make homes more comfortable and more healthful; lower the cost of utility bills; provide energy education; and process applications for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP).

Weatherization Services- include installation of applicable weatherization measures such as duct repair, filter replacement, insulation, etc., that make homes more comfortable and more healthful and lower the cost of utility bills.

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)- helps relieve emergency and non-emergency situations for eligible electric and gas customers.

California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE)- provides a 20% discount off your electric or gas bill for your primary permanent residence. Contact us or your utiliy company to find out more details about this program.

Lead Reduction Services- provides lead-hazard paint reduction services for homes built prior to 1979.  The family must have children less than 6 years of age residing or regularly visiting.
