Make the Holidays Special for a needy family
Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC) is kicking off their Annual Holiday Food Drives. This year the need to help others in our community is so great and our goal is to provide holiday food baskets to as many families as we can.
The CAPSBC Food Bank has come up with a “Wish List” of items that are needed to provide a holiday meal. You or your group can collect food items or go to your local grocery store to purchase them, and bring them to the CAPSBC Food Bank and we’ll see that your donation goes to needy families in San Bernardino County. We also accept grocery store gift cards that can be used to purchase a holiday meal.
When you donate to the Food Bank, you can be assured that your contribution goes through an efficient distribution chain that supports over 200 agencies, including Catholic Charities of San Bernardino & Riverside County, Salvation Army, Lighthouse for the Blind, the ROCK church, Set Free Christian Fellowship, Desert Manna Ministries, St. Paul A.M.E., Boy’s & Girl’s Club, local schools, community & senior centers, domestic violence shelters and countless other faith-based organizations just to name a few.

Delivering Food to the Food Bank
Of course we will make every effort to pick up you donation, but because the CAPSBC Food Bank relies largely on volunteer labor we consider delivery of the collected food to the warehouse as part of your donation.
Our warehouse is open for deliveries Monday through Friday. Click on the Maps and Directions link below for directions. Please call to make delivery arrangements before you come in.
When we receive your donation, we will weigh it and let you know how many pounds of food were collected. We can also provide you with information concerning the number of meals your donation will provide to people in need.
