Career Opportunities at CAPSBC

Position Description Closing Date
Quality Control Technician Under the general supervision of the Responsible Managing Employee (RME), the incumbent will perform difficult pre-assessment and quality control weatherization inspection responsibilities. Pre-assessments and inspections are based on appropriate State and local guidelines/regulations, Weatherization Installation Standards and contractual requirements.  
Warehouse Assistant Under the direction of the Warehouse Program Assistant, the Warehouse Assistant performs a variety of shipping/receiving, inventory control, and stocking activities. Delivers and unloads materials and supplies.  
Clerk I Under general supervision, the Clerk I performs general receptionist and clerical duties, which follow established practices and procedures and are repetitive in nature. In addition, the incumbent provides technical support to the Call Center and operates a multi-line telephone system.  
Outreach Worker Under the direction of the Outreach HEAP Supervisor, the Outreach Worker performs intake and eligibility screening duties to assist eligible clients with utility assistance (gas and electric), wood, propane, and oil assistance. Work requires a high degree of confidentiality, independent action, and organizational skills.  
Weatherization Field Supervisor CAPSBC is currently seeking a qualified and highly motivated person to supervise assigned staff, maintain accurate truck inventory control and ensure that program production/quality goals are achieved. The incumbent must also be able to work independently with minimal supervision, be computer literate, work overtime and travel is required.  
Class A Driver/Warehouse Worker-Food Bank Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, the Deliver Driver / Warehouse Worker performs all phases of driving and warehousing for a comprehensive program designed to solicit and collect food products from public and private sector agencies and redistribute food products to community-based organizations and low-income persons / families throughout San Bernardino County.  
Weatherization Crew Technician

Under general supervision, the incumbent performs a variety of weatherization duties/tasks for the Energy, Education & Environmental Services Program.
